KME are now capable of producing all machined components in-house which gives us complete control of our production and avoids any possible delays caused by using independent machine shops.
Our CNC machine shop also enables us to offer our customers an additional machining service which can either be for machined parts only or the inclusion of machined components in a sheet metal kit. This can reduce the number of suppliers and allows delivery to point of use without the need to sort and kit. KME have invested in two state of the art CNC machines.
The Haas DS-30SSY is a dual-Spindle CNC Lathe with a max capacity of 406 x 584 mm and a max swing of 806 mm. It is complete with a 2” Dia. bar feed unit. The machine can turn both ends of a part in a single setup.
The Haas VF5 Vertical Machining Centre has 1270 x 660 x 635 mm machining area with a side-mount tool changer capable of storing 30 tools. This machine also comes equipped with a 4th Axis.
We have a highly skilled workforce whom offer faultless precision for producing both machining and turning parts. KME have combined the latest CNC machining and turning processes to enable us to provide our customers with the highest quality machined components.
